Well after testing it for 3 days now, on 5 different PC with all of the different spec, here are my starting and early Normal Computer user with no extra or expert knowledge view. 2 WIndows 10, 2 Windows 7, 1 Windows XP

Pros
1stly, some how, the installation are much more faster than the older version of it.

2ndly i didnt know if it because it just being installed, but it does doesnt give impact to my PC startup which V8 does give a little impact on windows 10 startup (But i believe...

I am currently running ESET Smart Security v8.0.319.0. I have 60 days left on my license before it expires. Should I upgrade to version 9? It seems like it may have enhanced protection and more features. I also read that some are having issues.

Version 8 trial expired yesterday, so no protection. I have a license, just don't want to use another activation if I should upgrade. ESET is closed weekends.


I am running:

Windows 7 SP1 64-bit
4GB RAM
May install HitmanPro.Alert

I may reinstall...

Hi I have a problem with Eset Smart Security 9 install it and at the start of windows 7 freezes Eset, Eset 8 does not pass this, it may be incompatibility with Zemana Antimalware and Zemana Antilogger?

Microsoft's just released major updates for Windows 10 called Fall updates. Does ESET Smart Security 9 have 'Safe Browsing' (Product rates the safety of sites returned in search results) e.g. (checkmark for safe site)?....if so. does this work with Google Chrome browser latest version?

I can't get the scheduler to run on-demand scans after the set time period it's supposed to run is passed. Would like to run a scan each Saturday morning and set it to run at 6:00 AM and have set it to run as soon as possible in case it didn't run at the scheduled time.

Now for as long as the PC is running before, the scan starts as intended at 6:00, however in case I only boot up the machine later Eset doesn't run the scan.

I messed around with the settings a bit, scheduled it daily at...

I'm using windows 8.1 so can i use ESET v8 since v9 has come out. will there be any security issues? will eset phase out the v8 slowly?
